    If you guys are looking to start an easy collection, I would suggest coin collecting. Coins from any country are pretty plentiful and some have really neat designs. (Plus the coins can be purchased in mint condition and will be worth more later) There is also a possible career opportunity for those with an intrest in currancy, working at a bank or the U.S. Mint.
