Volunteers of the Year

The Scouts of Troop 131 love their hometown of Wrentham, Mass.

The Scouts found out recently that their hometown loves them right back.

At a town meeting last fall, the troop was named volunteers of the year in the under 18 age category. Their service projects have included setting up and tearing booths on election day, and an annual tree pickup.

Eagle projects included building a shed to benefit the local food pantry and doing landscaping and repairs at the local senior center.
