Canopy tours are like regular rope courses, only they’re 30, 40, 50 feet or more off the ground. It takes a lot of mental and physical toughness to navigate your way through them.
Just imagine doing it with a 10-pound video camera that’s worth more than $5,000.
That was the job of videographers John Wooton and Mike Garner, who had the task of filming two Eagle Scouts as they explored a ropes course near the New River in West Virginia, not far from the Bechtel Summit, the site of the 2013 National Jamboree.
You’ll have to watch the fifth season of Scouting For Adventure when it airs on the Outdoor Channel this fall to find out what happened. Until then, here are some pics of the hard-working camera guys in action.
