Kansas Scout Earns 137 Merit Badges

Jonathan Ruebke from Troop 127 in Newton, Kan., has been a very busy man.

The Eagle Scout has earned 137 merit badges.

“Scouting has been the most beneficial activity in my life,” Jonathan said at his Court of Honor, according to the Harvey County Independent newspaper. “It’s not asking ‘what can I do,’ but rather ‘what can’t I do,’ ‘how can I better myself and those around me,’ and ‘how can I make the world a better place?’ ”
