Alan has shown courage to the extreme and I hope it shows our Scouts that, although they do not need to be in a situation such as Alan's, they can still have courage to the extreme by standing up for what they believe is right everyday and by following the Scout Law. My Boy Scout is learning that lesson right now as he is being tested in school with peer pressure and all the other difficulties young boys face. Alan, you are a TRUE American hero! What an amazing story!
