How to Do Wide Squats

Wide squats with weights work your quads and glutes. It involves performing a squat while holding a dumbbell or other light weight with both hands.

Make sure you sit back with most of your weight on your heels — not your toes. Keep your shoulders back and your chest up while you sit down and come back up.

Remember to use the muscles in your legs — not your back — to raise yourself up.
