I think you should. My little brother got Super Mario Galaxy 2 before Super Mario Galaxy also. By the way, there are 242 stars in SMG 2 and 120 in SMG.

I got all the 121 stars as mario and luigi. The cosmic races as luigi are harder than marios because the cosmic luigi keeps on jumping a lot and cheats. I had a hard time at underwater cosmic luigi race and hiney hive race. the races are easier as mario and not luigi. frosty cosmic luigi race at the freezeflame galaxy was the easiest out of all the luigi races that I had fun with throughout the game.
P.S. Don’t expect to beats the races as luigi so easily, it took me a long time to do them all in one day.

I just got Luigi, he is better because he jumps higher and runs faster than Mario. I beat it as Luigi and now I’m trying to get all the stars as him and get the grand finale galaxy.

P.S. The way you get grand finale galaxy is getting all the stars as Luigi and fighting bowser at the center of the universe then its avalible.

I have beat the game with some help from my Dad and my Sister.It’s realy fun and realy hard.But the wii or the game was’nt mine.The game is realy cool.I like when Mario saves Luigi.And it’s realy funny how Luigi is afrad of Mario when he is a ghost.But when a other ghost sees Mario when he is a ghost the ghost will fall in love with you. My favorite mushroom is the ghost mushroom you can float when Mario is a ghost.

I think the whole game is easy except for the bowser level.But I beat the bowser level!At the end bowser falls in a fire planet and
his universe crashes down! Then you save peach and get out of there.
You wake up and see it was all a dream!And then you go back to the ship and play more levels until you unlock a whole new world!
