To hi you get expert staff gosts by going on time trial.After seleting a course you will see the select gost screen.There is a staff gost on all tracks(that shouldn’t be to hard to beat).If you beat the gost’s time by about 5 seconds or more you get an expert staff gost on that track.If you get 4 you get funky kong,8 for baby Luigi,12 for bike called Spear,24 for a kart called sprinter,32 for your Mii in Mario’s clothes.If you do get enough to unlock one,go to the file selet srceen and select the file you earned one one.It shoud say you unlocked something.

To unlock mirror mode, get all of the trophies in 50cc, 100cc, and 150cc(it might be that they all have to be gold because that`s how I did it).

This game is definitly one of the better Wii games out there. I don’t agree with your cons though, bringing the old tracks back that look better then ever are good, and it isn’t like they don’t bring new tracks. And you can dodge most items, you can use a banana or green shell for a red. Getting a blue shell is a nuisance, but thats what gives the game more variety.
