How do you read the pitch to get better hits?
Games Guru: Reading the pitches takes time and practice. Studying opposing pitchers’ statistics before the game to learn what pitches they throw will help. In the end, however, you need to learn to wait before you swing. Even with the fastball, you have a few moments in which to analyze the path and speed of the ball before swinging. Remember, in MVP Baseball, timing is the most important ingredient. Moving the bat around for a more advantageous hit is not nearly as important as developing your timing.

I accidentally sold this game because I thought it would come out for the Wii right away. I need to get it back from EB Games. There are “cheats” in this game. When you create a player you give him a name…I forgot it but it says the name in cheat codes 07…which you can find at Blockbusters. THIS GAME ROCKS!

If u go 2 Francise u cn make ur own park.
2 hit a homerun push the left anologe stick up and hold up as u press X. No all homer, some pop-ups

i play mvp 2005 all the time. i still find it a very good game. one thing i am curious about though. in the game tuning where do some game players reccomend adjusting the #’s from 1 to 50.. i find playing in allstar that this doesn’t seem to matter much, the computer will still blast a ball out even set at -50. sometimes frustrating, even though the pitch is inside or outside. any suggestions. thanks. mackbc
