Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen

I am having big, I mean BIG, trouble catching Deoxy, Jirachi, Mew, Celib, Lugia and Hoho. Please help me!

Games Guru: For Deoxy, Mew and Lugia, you needed to go to a Nintendo event or Pokemon Center at a time when they were offering the Pokemon over wireless. Jirachi can be obtained from the bonus disc that comes with Pokemon Coliseum.

Where do I catch Mew?

Games Guru: Ah, Mew. Mew and Celebi are not in FireRed or LeafGreen. Sorry.

Can I catch any of the starter Pokemon as wild Pokemon, or can I only receive them from Professor Oak?

Games Guru: The only way to collect more than one of the starter Pokemon is to trade for them.

I can’t find any slowpoke. Can you tell me where I can catch it?

Games Guru: They are pretty common if you go fishing for them in LeafGreen. Check around the ice caves.

Where do you find Mewtwo?

Games Guru: Finding Mewtwo is a matter of time and location. Mewtwo is in the back of a cave a bit to the north and west of the town of Cerulean. To get to the cave, head north out of Cerulean and cross the bridge, then go west and hop in the river. The river will lead you to the mouth of the cave.

Before you can enter the cave, however, you will need to beat the Elite Four and more. You will need to explore the islands to the south and help the people on those islands solve a certain computer problem.

Does Venusaur beat the elite four in Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen?

Games Guru: Venusaur is a great Pokemon, but you’re in for some trouble if you try to beat the Elite Four with just one Pokemon. Lance, the fourth member of the Elite Four, specializes in dragon Pokemon. His fire beasts will make short work of a lone Venusaur.

  16. charizard101 says:

froggy17,do you have to see or catch 150 pokemon to get the master pokedex?

    • froggy17 says:

I am not familiar with the term master pokedex so I am going to assume you mean National Pokedex. To get that you must catch 60 pokemon and beat the elite four and then talk to Proffesor Oak.

    • froggy16 says:

First catch 60 pokemon and talk to professor Oak, he will give you the national pokedex. Then talk to Celio in the island one pokemon center. Then the rockets will battle you, if you win (you better by now) than they will move.

    • marut24 says:

u have to beat the elite four in the cave u find the ruby plate then go to celic in the pokemon center on island 1 then celic will use the ruby plate on his machine so u can trade pokemon with anyone who has pokemon ruby and there’s a sapphire plate

    • guru says:

beat the elite four then talk to celio and he will tell you to find a ruby or a sapphire which ever comes first. then you can go into the mountain. your welcome

    • mt8803 says:

you dont move the guys they will leave later but you got to do something i forgot if i remember ill tell you

  29. kirby123 says:

Have any of you gone to island seven and gone in the house with the old lady who has a secret staircase that’s covered by trees? If you have do you know how to go up yhe staircase?

    • froggy16 says:

The only thing I can think you are talking about is the lady that has boxes in her house with a breeze behind them. The only thing that is for is where you go when you scan in e-reader cards. The only problem is they don’t have that in the English games, just the Japanese version so it is useless in the English version.

how do you catch Ho-Ho in fire red

  32. froggy16 says:

    To FireRed,
This is part two so sorry if part one doesn’t post. Then you can make it faint. Teleport back to Cerulean City. Walk to Nugget Bridge and your start screen will pop up, hit (B) and mew will battle you. Normally it is at level 7 but because you used growl it is at level 1. Catch it. Then see how many experience points until level 2, mine was 43. Make it gain less than 43 (or what ever your number was) by switching it out on a low level pokemon (try route 4) and it will go to level 100. This actually works and I have tried it. Thank Salamence101 for he told me about it.
