shiny pokemon are available in gold, silver, and crystal. go over to the lake where gyrados is found at. talk toi the gyrados in the center of the lake. shiny gyrados is the ONLY guranteed shiny pokemon in the game, so get him while u can.

how do you get in the secret cave, only after catching all 26 unown’s? cause i remember finding it somewhere on the computer a long time ago, but i lost how to do it and i have never done it trully before, i remember that in this cave you can catch any pokemon you want in the game, i remember that it said there many door’s in it, with one of all the pokemon, in each door.

The Trainer House in Viridian City is a good place to get one trainer every day, it is either someone with every johto starters final evolvment or the last real person you battled. Your rival will battle you every monday and wednesday at the elite four entrance, (the eleite four are pretty good practise too). Besides that the best place to train is Mt. Silver and the grassy area in front of it.

You have a slightly better chance by breeding one with a non shiny, and if you breed two shiny pokemon your odds could increase to as much as 1 in 64. Either way it is still almost as hard to get a shiny pokemon by breeding as it is to find one in the wild.

Hey Froggy17 want to know if its true…. Do you have a better chance at shiny pokemon if you breed them?? like i know when you get the “Odd Egg” it has a ten percent chance of being shiny but what about others that you breed is it still going to be 1/8192??

Actually the best ball other then the masterball in pokemon crystal would be the fast ball which has a 4x better chance then any pokemon if the pokemon speed is higher then 100 which it is trust me i through 2 of them and both caught them immediately

no do not use the masterball on ho-oh/lugia just save before you see them,weaken them and just throw ultra balls like crazy if you know how copy the masterball (i wouldnt risk copying more than three because it may harm your game)and catch entei and rakiou afterwards you still have your masterball if you copied three.

Look for Misty North of Cerulean City on route 25, she is on a date when you interrupt her. But are you sure you are looking for Misty? You can’t get 3 badges untill you get the machine part in Cerulean City and I would think you would have found her already, maybe you just missed her.

The cloning glitch is really only practical in Gold and Silver version, for in crystal version it will only work if you turn the game off in the 0.1 seconds it says POWER, pretty hard to do.

well you need to use yer head to get the three Dogs…..the max amount of masterballs you need is five.you need the for the following pokemon

Enti
Suicune
Raikou
Lugia
ho-oh

It’s ok mate, I managed to do it, my team was Feraligatr lvl 50, Suicune lvl 50, Weepinbell lvl 50, Growlithe lvl 37, Nidoking lvl 40, Pidgeot lvl 40. I managed to do the elite four and beat lance with them. Thanks though pal.

Paralyze it, weaken it and then use false swipes to get it’s health to one hp. Fast balls work best on it, you will need white appricotts to make them.

Well at this point you can’t access the best place to train and all of the trainers that you can battle more than once are later in the game. So sadly victory road is the best place to train at this point. Tell me your team and their levels and I can make suggestions.

Ah, well you should’ve saved your masterball for someone like Lugia or Ho-Oh, and used Ultra Balls for Entei and Raikou. I would definitely use Ultra Balls on Raikou, as it’s the second best ball. Hope this helps pal.

I finally caught Entei! And Im tracking Raikou through my Poke’dex.For those of you who are wondering where to get them-I encountered BOTH of them on the mountain route between Blackthorn and New Bark.I found Entei on the bottom half(The new Bark Side) and raikou on the Upper half (Blackthorn side).But,of course-u might encounter them at a different place-but this route is a very good place to check.Now,i need help catching Raikou-I already used my masterball on Entei-so its getting kinda difficult to catch Raikou.Which ball should I use-What do you guys suggest??

Not at all this is what I am here for. Well here is the deal, for some reason they left out the GS from the English version of the game but not Celebie, so if you can some how trade a GS ball over from the Japanese version you can still catch it. Other wise you will have to cheat to get it because I am pretty sure there are no longer Nintendo events for these games. I have 250 pokemon, never managed to get Celebie.

Ok you are probbably stuck on the huge ice sheet. On the level above it there are 4 boulders, you will need to push all of them in holes by using strength, if you accidently push it into a corner you can leave the floor and come back and it will be back in place. If you need any more details feel free to ask.

It is doable but you should have all of your pokemon at at least level 60, 70 would make it really easy.

Go to the big blue time machine trading booth on the second floor of any pokecenter. You can not take back any new pokemon or pokemon that know new moves for it will stop you if you try. Just make sure it is conncected good and you are doing it at about the same time on both games.

Love Pokemon Crystal. I’ve tried other, newer Pokemon games but none are as good as crystal! I got a lvl 73 Typhlosion, lvl 75 Dragonite, lvl 64 Lugia, lvl 53 Snorlax, lvl 44 Pidgeot, lvl 47 Rapidash, a lvl 45 Suicune and a lvl 33 Gyrados. How am I going to fare against Ash? (aka Red idk why they called him that)
