– If you’re using the second player Wii-mote, experiment with your powers. You can activate stars, shake bushes for coins, help destroy boulders and much more.
– The bee suit lets you do more than fly; try climbing on honeycombs or anything fuzzy while wearing it.

After much searching, I think I have the answer about Super Mario Galaxy DS. There is a video someone posted on the internet, that shows a secret galaxy allowing the player to transfer the game to a nintendo DS, using nintendo wi-fi connection. But they faked the vidio so that it looks suprisingly real, so I think that’s how the rumer started.
To halaswisscheese: I don’t think so it is probably just a rumor. The reason I don’t think so is because I have searched for it on nintendo’s website, I have searched for it on websites saying they know everything about this game and I have searched for it at places like ebay and game reatailers.
To shadowroy64: The grand stars count like normal stars when you’r talking about the number of stars you have, so if you get the last grand star before the other 9 you will still have to get 9 more.

I have 10 more stars left before I Fight Bowser. It says on the glass platform. I also have the red star.If I get the last grand star Before getting the 10 power stars, do I fight Bowser? Or do I just have to get 9 more stars? Or even 10?

This is partly true. When you get all of the power stars including purple coin comets, you will be able to use a luigi head for your file icon,(because you also unlock super luigi galaxy) but you don’t have to make a mii called luigi.

If you make a Mii and call him luigi, then use him as a save file shape, you’ll get to start using luigi once you beat the game. It hasn’t worked with me.
And the timed purple coin missions are annoying.

I have beaten this game 100% with mario and am still working on it with luigi. I havnt played in a while and need to get back into it. In my opinion, the hardest level in the game is Toy Time Galaxy Purple Coins. I beat that level 1 player, but if you do use 2 players, the second player can freeze the platforms
To blow up the garbage you must move VERY quickly. Each bomb takes 10 secs to explode. the time starts as soon as you pick it up. If you place a bomb on each of the coin pad things you will be able to blow up all of the garbage in time.

I beated the center of the univers
you beat bowser by waiting till he ground pounds then go over the red space. then his tail sets o n fire. hit it.
To beat bowser, try and find some familiar movements that the levels or he himself did before. Also, I got 100% on this game as mario and luigi.
In the bomb part try putting the bombs where the coin panels are.

u kinda hav 2 grab onto the honey comb/wall and other fuzzy things
listen to dis. if you go to an edge close to da water, for ex. the stick thingy that has a mushroom on top of it, Mario will look down and turn him around and do a high jump,try to get on top of it, he will do a special jump/dive.
you should realy try doing all the levels even if you are able to leave because there are all kinds of powers you can take or discover that you won’t get in any other galaxy.
ya if you picked up the latest nintendo power it talked about all the new games at e3-smg 2 new super mario bros. wii and even a couple new zelda games. they even have a whole book on “great summer games”

on the first planet, when he turns into a rock, run behind him and spin his head. then it is like any other time with bowser. for the second planet when bowser becomes a spike ball, hit him with a green punching bag thing. then it is like normal. the third planet is like the other two times you faced bowser.
