I found that most times, if you set up a wall of pillars, each a hex away from each other, and try to scare the mouse in that direction, you can fill in the gaps just before he gets there. WARNING: This doesn’t work all the time. Good Luck!
This game really needs some more predictability from the mouse, other than that he tries to escape. I finally won after about 10 trials. Strategy is to use the existing pillars to your advantage and to make a wall a step ahead of him. Don’t give up!
