I have the United States flag pi, a Blue Ridge Mountains Council pin, a Camp Ottari pin, several Honor Roll pins, an NJHS pin, and an Academic Achievement pin
Hi, i’m an extensive collector and I know a couple of things about scout pins. in the begining (1910) the junior assistant scoutmaster and the first class scouts got to wear a special pin on their campain hats. also if you look at the backing of the pins you’ll notice usually the more modern ones have a military clutch and the older ones from 70′s and before have a clasp (like a safety pin). i’ll be posting more on all of the articles about scout/patch/pin collecting. if you have any questions please post them. my nickname “jewish scout” since i’m jewish (rare in scouting)
