Since I was 10, I have been collecting cookbooks. I have 13 so far, and I have not cooked from all of them yet.
Continuous trial and error in preparing meals helps someone to be a really good cook. Some really good cookbooks are the spiral binding cookbooks which permit the recipe to be read as the ingredients are being mixed into the finished product. Hard binding cookbooks are great to collect, but difficult in reading the directions for preparation of a food dish because sometimes the pages turn to the next page from the intended recipe.
