Although simple candle wax requires a lit candle to be near leaves and twigs (wherever the wildlife foot print is located), it requires less preparation than having to reconstitute actual plaster of paris and carrying in a water source or finding a water source to reconstitute the plaster to make really permanent and long lasting impressions of wildlife foot prints.
