my name is jordy i have a 1942 wheat ear cent with no mint mark its like yellowish almost like gold or bronze i want to know wat type of materials were used in those days i compared it to a 1941 and a 1944 wheat ear cent and it is a diffrent color compared to the rest..

I think that coin collecting is an awesome hobby! I collect modern American coins. I also pick up stuff when I travel, and from my grandparents. So far, I have coins from the U.S., Canada, The U.K., Euros, and several from southeast Asia.
