Cool dude!I collect rocks, too. My rarest, most special and favourite is one from a meteor that felt on earth.Scientists took some pieces, but the others left were given to some of the biggest museums around the world.I bought this one for 2000 $.I really love it!!!!!It is some very strange sort of colour and it is always EXTREMELY hot.It is not big-only about as big and as long as my middle finger.
i also collect rocks. i have igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic rocks. I also have several excellent specimens of several different types of mineral.
For spitspots coment, there was an epasode of I Shoulden’t Be Alive on the Discovery Chanel. The show was about a helieocopter acsident in the most active volcano in Hawaii. The crue were on a photo shoot of the crader and to get Madem Peles permison they had to drop a fill wine bottle into the volcano. I think they said that they sevived for 8 days and Madem Pele was an English maden that tragicly died in an expadition to the volcano.
I collect rocks too. Their spreed out in spasific catagories such as fosles, minorles, raguler rocks and pollished rocks. They range from pirite to quorts and some are even geods. I don’t know how I got into rocks. Mabey it was back in elementory school when my friend quortney moved away. At the time I only new one rock type, quorts. That eventuly trigerd aquorts boom in the Herbertson family. Now I have enough of the rock to fill a plastic coffee contaner. I shure hope this dosen’t hert your feelings, but are you as much of a rock hound as I am?
Don’t do it in Hawaii, Pele (hawaiian vocano god) will bring curse on removed or moved rocks. ALso, if you have a hawaiian tiki, it will curse you except if you live in Hawaii.
I also collect rocks and minerals and my life revolves around them so I think its rely cool. I have over 600 specimens.
