If you have a good baseball card

If you have a good baseball card that you want to keep in mint condition, put it in an individual plastic case instead of a binder with sheets. Cases keep cards in much better condition.

Before putting a card in a hard plastic case, put it into a soft sleeve, also called a penny sleeve. That will keep the card from scratching up inside of the case.

18,000 cards, and only 13 years old. Not nearly done collecting either. ;)

This is a great idea. A really good idea also to make sure that the edges aren’t crimpled and folded is to keep the baseball cards in a regular size shoe box. A shoe box that is put on a shelf can keep baseball cards in at least very good condition if the cards aren’t handled alot such as when trading baseball cards at a lunch table. If someone has room on a shelf, a small steel mailbox can keep the baseball cards in almost untouched condition from when they were opened in the original baseball card pack. A small steel mailbox won’t crumple at all if furniture falls on it; the baseball cards will remain unsmashed in the steel mailbox.
