Here’s a summary: Objects in motion stay in motion until a outside force makes it do otherwise. The same applies to objects at rest (or not in motion).

hey there is one cool trick that u can learn in scince, if u get a index card and get a cup of water, put the index card on top of the cup of water, put your hand on top and turn the cup upside down take your hand off and the water will stay.
It doesnt work. I tried like 20 times
