u can make the pendant and the necklace seprate, if you do this then you can make the necklace out of something else or even put it on a real chain

How about using stones, or shells for kids to hide things from their siblings in thier bedroom!! Mom can use elbow macaroni, dad could use pennies/loose change, or nuts and bolts!!
