Lion Cubs

See the litter of African lion cubs born to a 5-year-old mother named “Shera.” The Smithsonian National Zoo just launched a live webcam, which allows viewers to watch as Shera nurses her cubs indoors through late fall.

The four lion cubs were born during the late night and early morning of Aug. 30 and 31.
