Earth Hour

earthhour.jpgOn Saturday, March 29 at 8 p.m., people around the world will make a statement about climate change by turning off their lights for Earth Hour.

The World Wildlife Fund created this event in 2007 in Sydney, Australia. In one year, it has grown from an event in one city to a global movement. In 2008, millions of people in more than 200 cities will participate in Earth Hour. You can, too.

I did earth hour with my family, and it was a blast. My daughter thought it was hilarious to brush her teeth in the dark, and has wanted to do it every night since. My wife and I lit a bunch of candles and made a nice fire.
