A security guard at the Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando, Fla., called authorities after he caught a black bear roaming the property and taking a dip in the hotel swimming pool.
The 100-pound cub is not considered dangerous. While Florida Fish and Wildlife is surprised a bear ended up in such a busy area, they say it’s not uncommon for mothers to kick cubs of this size out of the den to make room for more. This young bear is most likely confused and scared.
