‘Ninja’ Locks Down Schools

Fire drills and snow days are common reasons for school cancellations, but how often do ninja sightings put a halt to education?

Public schools in Barnegat, N.J., were locked down for a short time Wednesday after someone reported seeing a ninja in the woods behind an elementary school.

There, of course, was a simple explanation. It turns out the ninja was actually a camp counselor on his way to a costume party at a local middle school. He was late, so he took a shortcut through the woods. According to the Asbury Park Press, he was “wearing a black karate gi and carrying a plastic sword.”

    I used to do karate, and sometimes watch ninja karate movies with my dad, and that ninja must have been slow. But I like ninjas. They are AWESOME! Funny story anyways.
