Lincoln Turns 200


lincolnToday marks the 200th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln’s birth. On Feb. 12, 1809, Lincoln was born in Hardin County, Kentucky. He later became the 16th president of the United States, presiding during a time of civil war and freeing the slaves. Today, Lincoln is remembered as one of our country’s most beloved and appreciated chief executives.
