Guinness World Records announced today that a Turkish man standing 8 feet 1 inch is the tallest person in the world. Sultan Kosen, 27, suffered from a pituitary tumor that caused him to grow more than the average human. He uses crutches to walk, because his knee joints are weak from carrying his body weight.
