Back To School Blues
To what lengths would you go to avoid a return to school after the holidays? One Mexican boy glued himself to his bed.
Diego Palacios, from outside the Mexican city of Monterrey, woke up Monday, walked to the kitchen for a tube of industrial-strength glue, swabbed it on his hand and stuck himself to his bed. His mother, Sandra, found him watching television.
She tried to remove Diego’s hand using water, oil and nail polish, but nothing would work. She then called the authorities for assistance. Paramedics arrived and unstuck Diego’s hand in time for him to go to school. The 10-year-old would later say he “didn’t want to go to school because vacation was so much fun.”
Some school districts have telecourses where you watch the television and learn your subject.
I would glue the TV (if it was flat) to the ceiling and use superglue to put myself in bed (if I was still in school, of course).
That is so crazy, but its too bad that he still had to go to school.
Only your hand?!? glue your whole body (except for your head and neck,of course) to the bed!
Smart kid.
