Solstice Moon Tonight

Tonight’s sky may offer what appears to be an enormous full moon, but it’s only an illusion.

The “solstice moon” will rise tonight, June 18, only two days before the official start of summer. Look low on the horizon, and the moon should look gigantic compared to when it’s higher in the sky.
