A Boy Scout in Maryland has earned every merit badge available, plus one that isn’t even offered anymore, according to an article in the Washington Post.
James Calderwood, an Eagle Scout in the National Capital Area Council, earned his 122nd merit badge — bugling — just two days before his 18th birthday.
He has so many merit badges that he had to sew three merit badge sashes together to make room for them all.
Only 2 percent of Boy Scouts earn Eagle Scout, which requires only 21 merit badges, so it’s very rare to earn all 121.

wow he is a role model to me.
good for him
I’m going to try that… i’ve had some practice with weblos and earned every normal badge you can. on to belt loops until august 12th
thats messed up!….he must have no life
How can you say he has no life? If he is pursued the completion of ALL of the merit badges then of course he has a life. He probably had more life experiences than any of use because he went through and did ALL of the 122 Boy Scout merit badges. Thats quite an accomplishment. All I can say is that the boy scouts who get all of their merit badges inspire me to get mine.
Awesome
they were earned before 2008…
thats awsome
cool
wow!!!!!! i could never do that!
