I was a scout in the 50′s and a Assistant Scoutmaster in the early 60′s. I’ve been looking for back issues that include the Slide of the Month by Whitln Jim. Is there a compilation of all of those articles.
I’m looking foir an issue that came out in the 50′s about a boy that rescued some of his siblings from a house fire- unfortunately two of his sisters died in the fire.
They were my next door neighbors. They had the issue because I remember the illustration on the cover of a boy out on the roof and flames on the roof and in the windows behind him. his last name was Carney.
I have some old issues … in the 70s when I was a young scout.. I too am wondering if I should sell them, etc? any ideas??

There are a lot of 1950′s Boy’s Life magazines listed on Amazon. I have about 10 listed from the 60.s.

hi i am old scout that is looking for a couple of diffrent articals in diffrent years first is the issue that would have covered the 1957 jamboree, that is the one that my dad was in then the issue that covered the 1976 jamboreethat is the one that i went to. thanks for any help
Yo Pedro, all the back issues are all electronic documents… can’t you just post them all on this site so we don’t have to ask for specific articles? The one I am interested in at the moment is the February 2007 issue, especially the article(s) on BSA’s Florida Sea Base. Thank you Pedro!!
