Wouldn’t want to meet a 2,500-pound snake

Dear Pedro, I read the article “Largest Snake Ever” on (Newz & More) February 4. I can’t believe a snake can grow to be 43 feet long and 3 feet wide and weigh 2,500 pounds. I’m surprised that its mouth was big enough to fit over a cow’s head. How would a snake be able to digest something that big? I wouldn’t want to run into something that big while playing around outside. Thanks for this awesome post.

I don’t think there are any of those around here, Jake. If it can swallow a cow, it could swallow…gulp…an undersized burro.
