First aid paid off
Dear Pedro, I’ve been in Scouting for nine years and throughout those years I’ve learned first aid. It finally paid off. My girlfriend cut her finger badly at work when I was there and I was able to do all the right things (apply pressure, call 911). When the rescue squad arrived they told me if it wasn’t for my actions, she might have lost her finger. Scouting taught me something valuable and I was prepared for the emergency. My girlfriend thanks me for saving her finger, and I thank Scouting for teaching me how.
