Jimmy Kennedy, 13, woke his family as Hurricane Katrina struck his home in D’Iberville, Miss., in the early morning hours. The electricity was out, and floodwaters were surging into the house.

I am always just so amazed by the gumption these people have and the bravery. Bravo, Scouts! I wish I could be a boy scout, but that’d be hard, considering I’m a tomboy girl..but whatever!

That was amazing! I have listend to this a ton of times because I love how he saved them. I hope any other hurricanes don’t come that are harder than Katrina.
