2012 was a year of change in videogames. There were more phone and tablet games than ever before and fewer big consoles games, especially for kids. Change may come, but the cream always rises to the top. Here are the Boysie Awards for this year’s best games!
It’s been a fascinating year for games. From LittleBigPlanet 2 early in the year to Skyward Sword last month, you never had to look far to find something good. But after a lot of blood, sweat and game playing, here are this year’s winners!
I hate angry birds because it is too violent-you are encouraging revenge and other bad practices
I really think that there should be a mario game because I think that Mario is better than ps, ps2, ps3, mostly kinect, kinect is horrible, x box…. I’m more of a nintendo fan but, angry birds is fun… mario should have been the game of the year :C

I like Angry Birds. It is a fun and unique game so its no suprise that its very popular and made for many different platforms.
Lego Harry Potter years 1-4 is far more than just another Lego game it is a truly brilliant game!!:D

Best Wii game: Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Runner-up: Mario Kart Wii
Runner-up: Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
Best DS game: Super Mario 64 DS
I think that they were right about MarioKart Wii, but Super Smash Bros. Brawl should’ve been the runner-up. And what about WarioWare Smooth Moves. It’s not that old of a game and is ridiculously awesome. But, I’ve never heard of Prof. Whatshisface and the Whatever Village. The description sure made a big deal of the math problems.

This isn’t just the best-looking LEGO video game. You really feel the spirit of superhero cooperation when you play it. In addition to Batman and Robin, you can play as all the villains. The vehicles are way fun to drive, too.
SSBB gets a lot more recognition than it deserves. It is simply a button mashing game where an experienced player can be beaten by a newbie because of a few luck breaks. It is a fun game, but not the best of the year. Also, Shaun White doesn’t even come close to NHL 09.

I think they are all great, and I have been doing chores for my neighbors in order to earn money to purchase some of them. Haven’t made much yet, but I’ll keep working until I can get it.
Wii,s are hard to point.My brother has one but he will not let me use it.So i can use my own.
If I Were to rate the top 3 consoles I would say SNES is #1 because it is the pinnacle of 2d gaming with best music, best stories, and best all around gameplay; #2 is probably the gamboy sp, you can play awesome games like metroid fusion, zelda four swords, and you also get to play the game boy color games, like the I don’t know how many mario games which you can’t play on ds; and in #3 I would have to say the 64 bit nintendo, (N-64), the best games for this are the original super smash brothers, which if it had more stuff to do, would be superior to the next 2 because of better gameplay, plus theres two of the best zelda games, mario 64, mario kart(highly recommended) and a whole lot of others that I can’t remember right now. So instead of asking for a 200 dollar wii, just ask for a 30 dollar Super nintendo and you can get whoever it is that is buying you it to spend the other 170 dollars on the greatest games in history.

I want to get a wii. Dad says we could get one cuz’ the wii sports would be a fun workout. the prob is that there aren’t any stores around that have any! As for ds, I got one the month it came out several years ago. I got bored cuz’ you have to keep spending money on the games so I just sold it. I think my new ipod nano is way cooler anyway.

Where’s Sly 4? I bought the day it came out. It is not very violent but it’s fun. Lego Batman 2 was fun ,but I think for some thing to be the best for ps3 it must be a ps3 exclusive.
