This is how you tie the Friendship Knot! It’s really handy for tying off your neckerchief without using a woggle or slide. It also might help you make a new friend. Do you know why? Drop your answer in the comments (the answer we’re looking for might just score you some free gear)! —————- Hint: You’ll see this knot a ton at World Scout Jamboree.
You can’t just fold up the flag any old way. Hold it at waist level between yourself and another person, fold it in half lengthwise, then fold it in half lengthwise again, always keeping the blue field on the outside. While one person holds the flag by the blue field, the other should make triangular folds from the opposite end until only the blue field is available. ⠀ ⠀ Check out the pic to see the technique, and tap that link in our bio for more on the right way to display the U.S. flag.⠀ ⠀ #FourthofJuly #FlagFolding #USFlag #flag #UnitedStates #USA #JulyFourth

From @officialcampmakajawan: “At around noon yesterday, Scouts from Troop 15 became heroes. Troop 15 departed camp for a white water rafting trek on the Wolf River. The Scouts were on the river for about 30 minutes without incident. After rounding a river-bend, scouts David Sanders and Thomas Gamblin saw a family of five fighting the current with their rafts pinned against a fallen tree. The two boys sprang into action, quickly beaching their raft and carefully wading through the rapids to the family. They dislodged the rafts and sent them down the river. Sanders and Gamblin instructed four of the five rafters to safely float down the river to a safe riverbank. The last rafter needed extra assistance. The two boys guided her down the river to the rest of the family. Troop 15 took the family down the rest of the river in their rafts. No one was hurt during the incident. Thank you Thomas and David! . . . . . #campstaff #makajawan #makajawan2019#makajawanscoutreservation #boyscoutsofamerica#scoutsbsa #beprepared #scoutsummer#scoutsummercamp #scoutsummer2019 #scoutmein #BeAScout #scoutOath #scoutlaw #WeOwnAdventure #venturing #orderofthearrow#chooseoa #boyscouts #eaglescout . #meritBadge #Eastcamp #Westcamp #neic #wisconsin”
