Being Prepared Pays Off For Competitive Swimmer

When Derek Peeples’ swim coach called, the Life Scout was prepared.

Turns out his team needed a last-second replacement for a competitive meet just days away, and even though Derek wasn’t originally scheduled to compete, he was ready.

Competing in seven events over the four-day competition, Derek earned three silver medals and helped his team to a second-place overall finish.
