there is a shortcut in arrow of light ally! near the beginning of the race go into the first blockers. you will go right through them and onto the other side!

    in the arrow of light ally, you need to go into the spot with the second barrier, you go into the FAR SIDE, not the side closest to the start/finish line. then, go into the barriers after that, but GO TO THE LEFT.
