Stuff We Like: One Tough Txter

If you’re like most guys I know, you’re tough on your stuff. Problem is, most electronics like cell phones can’t stand up to your kind of abuse. That’s why you’ll be stoked to hear about this super-durable mobile phone. The Casio G’zOne Brigade ($250 with 2-year Verizon contract, www.casiogzone.com/brigade) is the first rugged phone with a full QWERTY keyboard for easier texting and web access. It successfully tested strict military spec testing and can handle high heat, dust, impacts and even 30 minutes submerged in three feet of water! We dunked the thing in the ocean mid-phone call and it survived with flying colors—and my friend on the other friend of the line said I still sounded loud and clear. The Brigade isn’t exactly small (weighs 6 ounces and is about the size of an oversized Snickers bar) but its burliness more than makes up for any clunkiness. We dare you to try and break this phone!

  5. I have this phone and must say, I really cannot break this. I hand it to other people and ask them to give it a test, and after much convincing, they throw/jump on/just give heck to it and are always amazed by it. It is the absolute best.
