Good inexpensive waterproof watch

Q. My troop is sending boys to Sea Base and I was wondering about good inexpensive waterproof watch. Any ideas about where I could get one?

A. There are lots of inexpensive watch options. Check out Amazon.com and search for “Casio sports watches.” I found a few that meet your needs including the Casio Men’s W800H-1AV Classic Digital Sports Watch (retail $20; casio.com). It’s water resistant to 100 meters and has a 10-year battery life

Timex Expedition gets an +A rating in Trail Mag. $45.00 and has a few nice extras: alarm, indigo light & info storage.

Casio from wal-mart or any dept store but they are the best. Used them all through scouts in the 80’s and into the military. I use a casio wave trekker atomic solar now. Bought it through Kohl’s online.I bought mine for $80 but is rugged and will give years of great service

  6. I recommend G-Shock Watch, Men’s White Resin Strap. Most are waterproof up to 200 meters. But they are expensive about $90.00.

  7. best watches are Casio Pathfinders, Suuntos, and I would not recommend timex expedition watches, they are not accurate and they are big
