Knife Safety Quiz

Knives can be a handy tool, but they can also be dangerous. Using a knife requires responsibility. This quiz covers the basic safety rules. You can learn more by completing the Whittling Chip requirements for Cub Scouts or the Totin’ Chip requirements for members of Scouts BSA.

    • A 25 degree angle is waaay too steep for a good edge. Otherwise, no quibbles. Good quiz. And yes, you can pass a knife safely with an open blade. Knife safety is knife safety, whether it is an open folding knife or a big butcher knife or a locked Opinel. See you on the trail.
