A Great Service Project: Renovating A Local Park

Scouting service is all about taking care of your community.

The Scouts in Canyon, Texas, are certainly doing their part. They’ve completed more than 1,000 hours of work at Conner Park, stripping, painting and reproofing the pavilions, and renovating the park’s war memorial.

An official from the City of Canyon says the boys’ work saved them about $20,000.
