National Outdoor Awards Aren’t Easy To Earn

The BSA’s National Outdoor Awards take a lot of work. That’s what makes the award so prestigious.

When Wisconsin Scout Christopher Hagen became an Eagle Scout, he didn’t stop there. Instead, he kept working and eventually earned a National Outdoor Award.

“I was actually kind of bored one day and looked up what other programs there were for Boy Scouts and read about how to earn this award,” Chris told the Star Journal newspaper. “I decided to go for it.”
