15 Eagles in Same Troop, Same Year

The Boy Scouts in Troop 101 in Noblesville, Ind., obviously don’t back down from a challenge.

That might be part of the reason why the troop produced 15 Eagle Scouts who graduated high school in the same year.

The Eagle Scouts, who are now in their first year of college at schools such as Purdue, Indiana University, Hanover College and Indiana Tech, got together a few weeks ago for one last group picture. (Click on the picture for a larger version.)

What an outstanding accomplishment by this fine group who were once boys, but are now men.
Congratulations to them all; and also to Scoutmaster Tardy, and others to numerous to mention, in helping them reach this highest of achievements.
    Well done.

  2. This should seriously be in the written edition. This is a great story that should be expanded on in my opinion. Congratulations to the 15 young men here.

  3. Unbelieveable!! Great job by all. As I say when giving an Eagle Charge, “Encourage us in our endeavor to live above the common level of life. Make us to choose the harder right instead of the easier wrong, and never to be content with a half truth when the whole can be won”.

  4. Congrats to all these fine young men for meeting the challenge. I’ve been fortunate to work with many of them though the years as an ASM on their quest for Eagle. Congrats also to all the other Eagle Scouts from Troop 101 who proceeded them. This 80+ year old Unit has been doing it right for a long time.

  5. Great job boys!

  6. My son, who acheived his Eagle Scout honor many years ago, is Scoutmaster of Troop 101, and my grandson is one of the Eagle Scouts in the picture.

I am very proud of them both!

  7. Good job guys! Troop 101 is full of great guy and great scouts!

I think this is a wonderful accomplishment for the 15 boys to be able to make. I know how hard it was for my one scout to get the work done with some of Mr. Tardy’s help. I can’t imagine how he had the time to help 15 of them to make Eagle. Mr. Tardy is an excellent leader and all of the boys did an execellent job making Eagle. I’m so very proud of one Eagle, but I’m also proud of rest of the Eagles too!
