There are pros and cons to every game system out there. What’s best for you? It’s up to you to decide.
DS Lite
Category: Portables
Cost: $129
Features: Two screens; WiFi wireless; touch-sensitive screen. Plays Game Boy Advance and DS games.
The Good: This best-selling system has a huge library of games. Rechargeable battery can last up to 19 hours. Good price.
The Not So Good: Least powerful of the new systems, with poorest graphics. Holding system and using stylus can be clumsy.
PSP
Category: Portables
Cost: $170
Features: High-resolution wide screen; WiFi. Plays games and movies on mini DVDs called UMDs.
The Good: The nicest screen ever included in a handheld. UMDs make for bigger and better looking games.
The Not So Good: Smaller and often disappointing library of games. System and games designed more for adults.
PlayStation 3
Category: Consoles
Cost: $400 for 40 GB hard drive. $500 for 80 GB hard drive.
Features: Plays games and movies on Blu-Ray and DVD disks; WiFi. Backward compatible to PS2; wireless controllers.
The Good: The most powerful game system ever made; games look great. Many online options.
The Not So Good: Costs nearly twice as much as other systems. Few games released for 2007; most are for adults. Some problems with backward compatibility.
Wii
Category: Consoles
Cost: $250
Features: Uses wireless motion-tracking controller called Wii-mote: WiFi; backward compatible to GameCube.
The Good: Wii-mote is unique. Comes with Wii Sports. Better backward compatibility than PS3 or Xbox 360. Family-friendly library and excellent classic games through online service.
The Not So Good: By far the least powerful of the new consoles. Few must-have games, and Nintendo has announced few future games than Microsoft or Sony. Does not play movies.
Xbox 360
Category: Consoles
Cost: $280 for Xbox 360 Arcade (256MB memory unit); $350 for Xbox 360 Premium (20 GB hard drive); $450 for Xbox 360 Elite (120 GB hard drive).
Features: Uses wireless controllers; plays games and movies on DVD; Internet connectivity.
The Good: Largest game library. Best online offerings. Can play high-def DVD movies.
The Not So Good: Severe overheating problems. Limited backward compatibility. System and games generally designed for adults.

same as the ps3 the wii can surf the web. i would say the wii is the best out of the newer systems and the price hasnt changed three times like everything else. GO NINTENDO!

I got a PS3 80-gig for Christmas, and as far as I am concerned, it is the best game system so far. The best game for it would have to be Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune. The game starts out with combat, which is a major part of the gameplay. A small part is puzzle solving and death-defying stealth stunts. Anyway, back to combat. The aiming technique is over-the-shoulder camera, for guns, and there is a major role of close-combat, a.k.a. melee, in case someone gets too close for comfort. Which is any distance within a 200-mile radius. Sniper rifles, machine guns, pistols, and, my favorite, the Panzershreik. A.k.a, the rocket (or grenade) launcher. Those are just tips and a small taste of the game. Of course, you have to be fearless. Because there are monsters that look like zombies. Not Resident: Evil, but pretty close.
We just got the wii sports. the games that came with it are boring. what can we play on it that is cool? I’m used to pc gaming – UT Serious Sam and the like…. I also like old style arcade games like joust

that is incorect, i have a ps3, and it has the “online capability” you can litaraly go on scoutlife.org on it, you can download games and stuff, you can go on google , and hotmail.com…..but the xbox 360 cannot!! you can “play” online, but you cannot surfe and browse the web, as the almighty ps3 can do!!

Xbox 360 has the best graphics and the most games. I would have to go with the 360. But if u dont care if the graphics are just a little bit weird and u have the money then get a PS3.
Personally, I think that the Wii is the best because I like the backward-compatability thing, and the fact that you can actually MOVE and not be a couch potato. I rate the Wii ****

I am saving up for a Wii, the best system ever.
wii because you won’t be carrying a big controller with you,plus u can make a lot more moves than the other game systems.
The XBOX 360 did have overheating problems, but a stunning move by Microsoft has changed all that. First off, all new systems are equiped with new and better heatsinks to keep the CPU cooler. Also the warranty for overheating was extended to 3 years instead of 1.
The library of backwords compatible games grows larger every day. Usually all you do is pop in the game, and it downloads the driver automatically.
I suggest the 360, but it is not the best for everyone. My advice is to look around first, and play each system beforehand if possible.
I have a PSP, and a PS2. The best fighting game I know of is BattleFront for PS2, it ‘s also on PSP.

“For me i like Nintendo DS Lite and Wii,the Nintendo DS lite has Two screen.WOW.It also can do Wi-Fi match.Wi-Fi match is when you play on the computer, just like now.But the Wii system can do more.You can make your own person and when you play a game the person will apere on the TV,the person is called a mii,i think. I don`t have any of them , but I think DS is best.
DS is great and all (I got mine the month they came out), but I decided to sell mine and use the money to get an ipod. I enjoy my ipod much more than i ever did for my DS, and besides, the only games worth getting (such as advance wars 2, it’s the best game ever) are GBA games.
