  8. FYI – July 4, 2020, is our 245th Independence Day, representing 244 years of freedom. If one counts our independence on July 4, 1776, as our first, then July 4, 2020, is the 245th.

  23. Paul Revere was captured by the British before he could warn the colonists. Charles Dawes was actually the one who warned them.

    I believe its the 239th Independence Day Celebration, not the 237th. 2015 subtract 1776 equals 239.

      You are right in your math, but I think it’s the 237th because you have to subtract a couple years because of the revolutionary war.

    • 1976 was 200, 1986 was 210, 1996 was 220, 2006 was 230. That would put 237 at 2013 so is that the original date of the quiz?
