Q. Who makes a good hydration bladder for backpacks?
— Thirsty Griffin, from the Internet
There are many options when it comes to hydration bladders? Look for products from established brands like CamelBak, Platypus and Osprey at your local gear store or Scout shop, and check out this new one: the Cenoté 2- and 3-Liter Reservoir ($14 to $15; cenote.com). It’s BPA-free and recyclable and has a bite valve tube with an on/off switch just like other, more expensive models. It retails for about half the price of most other reservoirs.
